lame (live and unplugged)

by lame

this recently unearthed live to two track studio recording of covers and original compositions by cerveris and ripley from a pair of sessions on July 7 & 10, 1994 documents lame during a particularly sweltering NYC summer

this was in the middle of the band's late night Saturday residency alternating with Jeff Buckley at the famed Sin E club in manhattan's lower east side

the band would hurry downtown following two performances of Tommy on Broadway and squeeze into the beloved storefront acoustic music venue, packed to the walls with fans, and play for several hours into Sunday morning before heading back uptown for a matinee later that day
